Robert Simmerling P.Eng. formed Kodiak Measurement Services Inc. in February 1995 to provide professional industrial metrology services to all types of industries using state-of-the-art, optical and laser alignment systems. Kodiak owns a full compliment of Leica industrial surveying equipment, which combined with Spatial Analyzer software forms a mobile, intelligent, industrial 3D measuring system. In 2006 Kodiak expanded to become one of the first companies in Western Canada to provide terrestrial scanning. Today with the advent of imaging total stations the company can combine conventional measurements and laser scanning to produce accurate geometric models of complex and difficult shapes to see how they conform to design.
